Beate Wiesinger (b. 1986 in Grieskirchen) is a bassist and musician based in Vienna. Her musical work spans across genres and explores diverse perspectives on the theme of “improvisation.” She is the founder of the band E C H O BOOMER, where she merges different sound languages and forms of expression, and with which she was awarded the Austrian Jazz Prize for Best Album in 2024.
